Thomson Road Grand Prix Circuit (The predecessor to Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix Circuit) and My Jogging Routine

As 2008 Singtel Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix (Marina Bay Street Circuit) started last night (Sep 26, 2008), the first night race in F1 race history, in actual fact this was not the first time having race circuit in Singapore. Why? Check this out.

Today, there are still runners running from
MacRitchie Reservoir Park to Upper Pierce Reservoir Park, by running pass a certain part of the circuit, i.e. Circus Hairpin to Devil’s band, most dangerous section of the circuit. No doubt I jogged through the route previously (around 7 to 10 times), and finally decided this has to put as a stop.

Note:
From MacRitchie Reservoir Main Entrance Car Park to Circus Hairpin (Beginning of Old Thomson Road): 3.6km
From Circus Hairpin to Devil’s Band (Midpoint of Old Thomson Road): 1.4km
